Completely fireproof, non-irritant and fibre-free, ultra-lightweight Micafil has many applications.

Features:

• Free flowing and easy to install, it is ideal for thermal and acoustic insulation in lofts, between floors, interior cavity walls and for pipe protection.
• Vermiculite is the geological name given to a group of hydrated laminar minerals which are aluminium-iron-magnesium silicates.
• Vermiculite is a safe, inert material and therefore ideal to use as a replacement for older materials that possess a threat to health and the environment.
• Vermiculite can be treated in a variety of manners to make it suitable for a wide variety of applications where fire resistance and thermal stability are essential.
• When exfoliated, the mineral expands up to ten times its original volume, resulting in lightweight granules that possess excellent insulation properties.
