Floor levellers can be used on different surfaces such as concrete, screed, tiles and timber. The main purpose of floor levellers is to correct areas where the surface isn't level. Many floor levellers are now suitable to use on flooring that has underfloor heating, although it is important to check the packaging to ensure that this is the case. There are two types of self levelling compounds. One of these compounds is a powder formula that comes with a latex liquid in a different container which has to be mixed before use. Another type of self levelling compound is powder with latex already in it, to prepare this compound it has to be mixed with water.
