Delivery Information

*Service Update*

Due to the seasonal increase in demand and with scheduled strike action happening with various couriers there is an increased chance there may be a delay in the delivery of your order. Any orders placed from the 19th of December onwards will be delivered from the 3rd of January 2023. We cannot offer any compensation for loss of time/booking fees if goods are late due to these circumstances beyond our control. 

Delivery Cost (for orders made online)

Free Standard Delivery is available on all online orders over £150 (incl. VAT)*. For standard online orders under £150 (incl. VAT), delivery charges start at £1.99 (incl. VAT). Delivery costs are calculated based on the weight, size and delivery location of your order. There is a £1.99 (incl. VAT) automatically applied surcharge for items that we deemed as fragile or contain over a certain amount of liquid. This is to ensure they are booked on a special service to ensure they reach you safely.

You will only ever pay one delivery charge (Unless there is a failed delivery or delivery address amendments in which case you may be charged additional charges relating to delivery) and it will always be the lowest possible to deliver your selection of materials. Deliveries within our Green Zone will never cost you more than £18 (incl. VAT), and never more than £79.99 (incl. VAT) for Nationwide deliveries. The total cost of your delivery will be confirmed when you proceed to the check-out.

*There are some exclusions to this. If an item due to it's size or fragile nature needs to be palletised and delivered via one of our freight couriers, then a £60 (incl. VAT) surcharge will be added at check-out.

Good Communication

Please let us know if you require a call to let you know when we are on our way. Our deliveries are to the kerbside only (items will be delivered to the nearest kerbside at the address specified) and manual labour to accept/unload the goods must be provided by the customer upon receipt of delivery. It also really helps if you let us know if there are any issues with access to your property or the site i.e. is it on a bus lane or a very narrow street. This is important as to what type of vehicle we send with your delivery.

Green zone (Local Zone)

• We can deliver all our products in the Green Zone with our MP Moran Fleet vehicles or for small item orders we may use one of our 3rd party couriers.
• Our trucks are usually in your area daily Monday to Saturday.
• With most of our non bulky in-stock products we can offer next day delivery (excluding Bank Holidays) provided the order is placed by 12pm Monday to Thursday. Bulky in-stock goods can usually be delivered within 48 hours if place within our office hours Monday to Friday*. Please specify if you have any delivery date requirements when you check out and we will aim to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we can't guarantee any such requests, but you will be contacted to confirm your delivery date.
• If you urgently require your delivery or need it delivered on a specific day add a note in the notes box at checkout and we'll see if we can help.
• For deliveries that are not eligible for our Free Standard Delivery Service in our Green Zone you will never have to pay more that £18.00 (incl. VAT) for your delivery.

*We operate between the hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Blue Zone

• If you are a current customer wanting a heavyside delivery in the Blue Zone don't panic as you have 2 options:
• Firstly you could try Click and Collect to pick up from your closest branch OR request a quote from our helpful sales team.
• Our 3rd party couriers deliver lighter/smaller products to postcodes in the Blue Zone.
• Unfortunately our couriers can't deliver very heavy (individual items exceeding 30kgs) and in general products that have dimensions in excess of (LxWxH) 1600x600x600mm. Other items that are excluded from our courier service are: All Bricks, Blocks, Paving, Tiles, Slates and Sawn Timber products. Most sanitaryware products due to their fragile nature are also excluded.
• Deliveries via our couriers will be between Monday to Friday.
• With most of our non bulky in-stock products we can offer next day delivery (excluding Bank Holidays) provided the order is placed by 12pm Monday to Thursday. However under certain circumstances it can take up to 5 days. We will always aim to delivery as soon as possible. Please specify if you have any delivery date requirements when you check out and we will aim to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we can't guarantee any such requests, but you will be contacted to confirm your delivery date.
• We recommend that you do not book tradesmen, plumbers etc. for a specific date before you receive the goods as we cannot offer any compensation for loss of time/booking fees if goods are late due to circumstances beyond our control.
