Indirect cylinders are reliant upon other external appliances to heat the water stored in them. Typically, boilers or solar panels are the external appliances that indirectly heats up the water. The water in the cylinder is heated through the use of a heat exchanger; this is a mechanism that transfers the heat generated from the external appliances, to the water in the cylinder. Our indirect cylinders are unvented, which means that they are suitable to use alongside existing pipework as they are connected to the mains pressure.
