fermacell® perimeter strip is used for isolation between fermacell® Flooring Elements and adjacent structural elements.

Application:

• Determine the finished height of the fermacell® Dry Flooring Elements and mark this off on the surrounding walls.
• Place the Perimeter Strip on the wall or fix it to the wall using adhesive.
• The upper edge of the Perimeter Strip should be at least 5mm above the finished height of the flooring elements.
• Excess material should only be cut off after laying the floor covering, e.g. tubes.
• If necessary, the height of the Perimeter Strip can be varied by applying two strips, one on top of the other.
