ClassicBond Pressure Sensitive Reinforced Universal Securement Strip 1.14x152mm (Sold Per Metre)

Suitable for use with ClassicBond and ClassicBond Pro membranes. PS RUSS is a nominal 1.14mm thick reinforced EPDM membrane strip with a nominal 0.76mm thick cured EPDM splice tape adhesive laminated along one edge.

Features:

• The reinforced EPDM membrane is 152mm (6") wide while the adhesive strip is 76mm (3) wide.
• Ideal for perimeter securement.
• Ideal for securement around penetrations.
• Pressure-Sensitive RUSS has the splice tape pre-applied along one edge, and can be installed horizontally or vertically in conjunction with Seam Fastening Plates below the EPDM deck membrane for additional membrane securement.
• Can be used on Ballasted, Fully Adhered or Mechanically Fastened EPDM Roofing Systems to provide additional membrane securement at walls, curbs and expansion joints.
• 6" PS RUSS cannot be used in the field of the roof on Mechanically Fastened Roofing Systems.
• PS RUSS must be used in conjunction with ClassicBond EPDM Primer.

Please Note:

• Avoid prolonged skin contact; wash affected areas with soap and water if needed.
• High jobsite temperatures exceeding 32°C may impact product shelf life.
• During warm, sunny weather, store PS RUSS in the box or a shaded area until ready for use.
• Storage or use below 4°C may result in adhesive tack loss; maintain a minimum temperature of 15°C during overnight storage.
• Store Pressure-Sensitive RUSS in a dry area.
• Be cautious of solvent flash-off; if condensation develops, discontinue primer and RUSS installation. Allow the primer surface to dry and apply a thin freshener coat when conditions allow.
• Use Carlisle Seam Fastening Plates and Fasteners during PS RUSS installation.
• For proper adhesion in temperatures below 40DegreeF (5°C), follow specific steps, including proper drying of primer, membrane installation, and heating the surface with a hot-air gun.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
