Fitting Instructions: Step-by-Step Installation

STEP 1: Position the STOPCOR® Device
Install the STOPCOR® unit near the main water supply or directly on the equipment requiring protection, such as commercial boilers, water storage tanks, or main plumbing lines.
STEP 2: Connect the Black Cable (Jubilee Clip Connection)
Locate the black cable on the upper side of the STOPCOR® device, expose the copper wiring inside, and secure it to a clean metal point on the pipe or system using the provided jubilee clip.
STEP 3: Connect the Earthing Cable (Green/Yellow)
Drill a small hole in the wall for the wedge anchor, attach the yellow/green cable to the terminal pin on the STOPCOR® unit, and secure the other end of the cable to the wedge anchor.
STEP 4: Activate the Device
Fill the STOPCOR® unit with tap water using a syringe through the designated hole on the top of the device.
Annual Maintenance
STEP 1: Refill with Water
To maintain optimal function, add water once a year during the routine check:
- 30ml for STOPCOR® C5
- 50ml for STOPCOR® C7
- 100ml for STOPCOR® C9
STEP 2: Test with a Multimeter
Measure the voltage using a multimeter. The reading must be over -1V to ensure the system is working correctly.
STEP 3: Replace After 3 Years
The STOPCOR® unit should be replaced every three years for continued protection.
