Ancon Staifix HRT4 Light Duty Wall Tie 275mm 250pk

Ancon Staifix HRT4 Housing Wall Ties (Type 4/Type A) are used for tying two leaves of a cavity wall or separating wall where the first leaf has already been constructed. The wavy end of the tie is resin-bonded into the existing wall in a 10mm hole.

Features:

• Specially designed safety ends provide excellent mortar key and reduce the risk of injury on site.
• Value-engineered design, manufactured from high tensile wire, minimises thermal loss.
• Multiple drips prevent water crossing the cavity whichever way up the tie is installed.
• Suitable for cavity widths from 126-150mm.
• Can be used in the construction of domestic houses up to 10 metres in height - Altitude and wind speed restrictions may apply.
• Independent tests have proven the HRT4 has a measured dynamic stiffness of <4.8MN/m³ when installed at a standard 2.5 ties/m² spacing and is therefore suitable for internal separating (party) walls of new-build attached dwellings.
• The HRT4 can be used with all approved robust details for cavity masonry separating walls, whether traditional or thin-joint blockwork (suitable for thin-joint construction with 3mm thick joints). Use of these details eliminates the need for pre-completion sound testing.
• Designed to replace the Butterfly Tie.
