When threaded over a steel formwork tie bar along with the cones, the Formwork Tubing creates a sacrificial tube allowing the Tie Bar to be easily removed for reuse once the concrete has cured.

Features:

  • Rigid PVC tube of 2mm wall thickness, supplied in 2 metre lengths.
  • Can be easily cut to the required size.
  • It is used as an expendable sleeve over tie bars.
  • Facilitates the tie bar removal and also acts as a spacer to ensure the correct width of wall.
  • Due to the rigid nature of the PVC tube, this also act as spacer, ensuring an accurate width of the concrete.
